LCC GRANT APPLICATION SUCCESSFUL

The committee recently made a grant application to Lancashire County Council through the Rishton County Councillor Miles Parkinson and a letter was received on 28th March confirming that we had been successful in our bid.

The money is to help towards permanent repairs to the club roof and although it will not cover the cost entirely it will be a massive help towards fixing the leaks and rotten wood which have been causing damp problems.

The committee would like to thank Cllr Parkinson on behalf of all members of the Rishton Free Gardeners Club.
