SECOND DARTBOARD INSTALLED
A second dartboard has been installed downstairs in the club which has gone down well with players and now allows matches to be played more quickly. Forthcoming games nights will also be able to accommodate extra players in darts competitions which until now have taken over an hour and left people waiting to play.

REAR ROOF REPAIRED
The roof on the women's toilets has been repaired by volunteers from the club and a number of leaks have now been fixed.
A raft of repairs have taken place over the past few months following grant applications and extra money which has come in from increased footfall this year. Members and non-members are thanked for their continuing support and the committee is doing everything it can to drive the club forward.

NEW FASCIA BOARDS FITTED
New uPVC fascia boards have been fitted to the rear of the club which not only give it a facelift but will improve insulation and weatherproofing.
The boards were acquired very cheaply and fitted by volunteers and have massively improved the look of the back extension.

NEW WINDOWS INSTALLED UPSTAIRS
A grant bid was submitted to County Councillor Miles Parkinson earlier in the year for repairs to the roof and the upstairs of the club. Work has now started by a team of volunteers from within the club and new windows have now been fitted to the function room, with bays which have been long since covered with boarding now uncovered.
The photo above shows one of the new windows which not only let in more light but have aerated the room considerably. A second window (to the right of the one above) has now been installed and the room looks much brighter and more welcoming as a result.
